“Not So Basic” Tees For Summer

Basic tees are always something you can count on for those classic, effortless outfit days. While I love them dearly, I have been leaning more towards “elevated” tees that include extra details such as a ruffle sleeve, twist tie bottom, or even a dainty button detail. I feel adding little touches to regular tees really make them versatile pieces to dress up or down. The one that I am wearing today has been my favorite elevated tee so far. The poof sleeve gives a preppy style to my look and makes me feel a little more dressed up! If I decide to dress this tee up anymore, I would simply switch my shorts for a mini skirt like this one and a pair of espadrille wedges such as these.

    RUFFLE SLEEVE TEES:  I am such a ruffle sleeve girl! I have always loved statement sleeves and adding a ruffle detail really brings out a classy touch to a basic tee.

 

THE HENLEY FOR WOMEN: These button down tees remind me of school uniforms, but I love them! Haha! I think they give off a preppy style, and are perfect tucked into skirts, shorts, or linen pants like these.

 

 ALL ABOUT THE WAIST: Cinched waist, wrap styles, and tie front tees are all about creating a waistline or showing off your gorgeous one! My favorite way to wear these kinds of tees are with classic jeans and shorts to really enhance the statement style it provides.
