Our engagement pictures are done! A huge shoutout to my mom for snapping them. Isn’t she such a good photographer?! For the longest time, she snapped all of my blog pics for Simply Stylish, and has always had an eye for photography. We wanted our engagement pictures to be semi casual during golden hour for a romantic vibe. I think my favorite thing about these pictures is the sun setting behind the trees! I highly recommend golden hour for all types of pictures…they are so dreamy!
For a little wedding update, I am taking it one step at a time. My sister has been THE best with helping me make decisions. She is pretty much our wedding planner at this point. If you are planning a wedding, I highly recommend finding someone to help you with planning all the details and decisions. Our wedding is going to be very small, but there are still lots of decisions like “exactly how many floral arrangements do I want” and “do I want chair covers for outdoor seating” that I really never thought about. Having someone to help takes a lot of stress off for sure. Creating save the date cards are on my to-do list next, and shortly after will be invitations. I will do a full blog post on both save the dates and invitations soon as our wedding planning journey continues!
