I talked a little about Mad Hippie last week on my IG, and shared my first impressions of using each of these makeup products. I added the review to my beauty highlights if you missed it! A lot of my makeup routines involve a very natural look since most of my days include working at home, and on the go running errands. Something about applying a little makeup, and getting dressed boosts my motivation for a productive day! Anyone else like this? Ever since I got These makeup products in the mail, they have made my everyday makeup looks soo effortless. First, the lip and cheek tint is a two in one product, and offers such a natural flush to the skin. I ordered the shade “plum” and think its a great shade for any season! Also, this tint is a cream which I’ve personally have never tried before until now. My skin type is combo, and oily on the cheeks at times. Creams have always scared me since I can get oily, and do not want more oil on top of my natural oils…ya know? Well, I did not experience any extra oily texture with this cream, and felt that it dried to a matte finish. For dryer skin, I think this product is perfect for you since powder blushes tend to become patchy and flakey. Application Tip: I first applied the product directly to my cheeks with a Real Techniques sponge, and then blended in the tint with a brush. this way, you get the most pigmentation!
The other two products I tested out are the mascara and concealer. The mascara adds just the right amount of tint to your lashes for a natural look, and the concealer is lightweight giving off light coverage. Now that summer is here, I recommend each of these makeup products for hanging by the pool, beach, at home, on the go, or if you are a fan of natural makeup looks on the daily! They are also very versatile, and are little enough to slip in your makeup bag when on the go.
